Product Review - LeKair Cholesterol Plus Strengthening and Conditioning Cream

So I would see this product pop up on hairlista and k-i-s-s and I was like hey may as well try it! So I went to Walmart and it was just a little over $1 so I figured why not? Best $1 and some change I've ever spent! This is  a staple for me. I use this as my mega light protein prepoo treatment, after I apply it all over my hair (and roots and such) I seal with some jojoba oil and put my plastic cap on for 20min to overnight. The thing I LOVE about this as a prepoo is it will never give me a moisture overload since it has protein in it but it's such a light protein to my hair it can't really give me a protein overload either! The smell could be better but when I seal it with some Hot Six Oils the combo smells pretty alright! I did try this once as a DC treatment or just a quick conditioner after a wash and I did NOT like it at all so I will only use this as a prepoo. This stuff leaves my hair so softttttt when I shampoo it out I still feel the softness even though it's all out! And even though it has mineral oil in it, I see it as it's not staying in my hair and will be washed out so it doesn't give me any problems. Definite thumbs up from me!

Pros: price, availiability, light protein, prepoo treatment, leaves hair SOFT
Cons: not a good DC/conditioner, consistency, not sure if it helps with shine for MY hair, smell, has mineral oil
Repurchase?: YES

Product Review - Neosporin Lip Health Daily Hydration Therapy

So ever since I can remember I've had dry lips. I always remember having to reapply my chapstick every 20-30 minutes, no joke! I would feel lost and self conscious without my chapstick being around me all the time when I was in public. So one day I stumbled upon this product review for this new lip product, the woman doing the revieiwing had my same problem, chronic dry lips. She said this lip therapy stuff fixed her lips right up so I knew I had to try it! It was about $4 but lord it is worth every penny! I can now go a good hour plus without having to reapply a thing now! This thing has helped my lips out sooo much! I had tried: chapstick, burt's bees, and blistex and none of those even touch this stuff! This will forever be my lip product, plus it is SPF 15 and that's GREAT because my lips are prone to getting sun burnt! I will say that I have to layer something on top of this product to seal the moisture in but I don't mind that at all, most of the time I use vaseline or blistex and I'm good for awhile!

Pros: helps chronic dry lips, SPF 15, consistency, applys on smooth, makes lipsticks pop when the base
Cons: price, availability, can make lips seem white when not rubbed in correctly, something else should be put on top
Repurchase?: Always and forever!!

Product Review - Silk Elements Luxury Moisturizing Conditioner

This was one of the first conditioners I bought when I wanted to start taking care of my hair (Jan of 2010). I had bought the ApHogee line and needed a nice moisturizing conditioner to balance out my hair. I HATED this conditioner though! I didn't like the smell, consistency, or the fact that I bought a huge bottle of the stuff! My stylist I have now had suggested I use it because I told her my hair was dry, lord this stuff didn't do a good thing for my hair at all! I will say when I'd put it in my hair it did make my hair feel okay, but when I washed out my hair didn't feel right. My hair would feel coated after it dried and as it was drying. Reading reviews on this product, it seems to be a hit or miss and for me it was a definite miss. I tried it out 3x then gave up and it's been sitting under my sink since!

Pros: comes in different sizes, price
Cons: consistency, smell, only see at BSS, didn't work, left hair coated
Repurchase?: No, didn't even finish the bottle

Product Review - Herbal Essences Hydralicious Featherweight Conditioner

So when I say I love this product, I am NOT even kidding! This will forever and ever and ever and ever be my staple deep conditioner! That's right, I said DEEP conditioner. This was my first HE product and I was scared at first that it would rip my hair out or something but it did the opposite! Granted when I first tried this my hair didn't really like it. My hair always seems to react that way to new conditioners, not sure why. But after I tried it a few more times my hair fell in love and so did I(: This stuff smells sooooo good just like any HE product, I can't really describe it but it's light and makes your hair and bathroom smell divine. I made this my DC by adding some vegetable glycerine (I'll do a review on this amazing product later) and some grapeseed oil. This has to honestly be the best DC I've ever had. I've tried Keracare Humecto, Elasta QP Fortifying Conditioner, and a few more but this LEAVES my hair soft afterward and not just when I'm washing it out like the others did. I normally leave it on my hair for at least 45min and the longer the better. I find that it works a LOT better on clean dry hair, but I still need to try it as a DC on dry hair before a shampoo. But I seriously do love this stuff and I rarely say that, even though I have a lot on my blog(:

Pros: smell, consistency, price, availability, does what it says it will, it works amazingly(:
Cons: bigger bottle!
Repurchase?: For my whoooooole life I will!
