Product Review - Creme of Nature Argan Oil Shampoo

So here's the new CON shampoo from the Argan Oil line they've just come out with. Can I say I LOVE this shampoo! I've never had a shampoo detangle my hair so nicely, it's almost like I don't have to use conditioner but I still do. It's a nice shimmery yellow color, and has a nice consistency. The best thing about this shampoo is no sulfates! That being said it still gets a little bit of lather which is nice. It really gets my hair nice and clean. I don't like the smell at all I will say but it doesn't linger in the hair. It doesn't really smell like the rest of the line so don't be turned off my that. My one major issue with this product is it has parabens :( But they are down at the bottom so what I personally do is clarify a little more often than I use to. But ever since I've added this shampoo to my regimen, my hair and NG have become easier to go through! The price is a little high but this shampoo will last forever so that's not such a big deal. I have only seen it at a local beauty shop that was not Sally's. I don't think I've seen it at Target and Walmart but I may be wrong.

Pros: detangles, consistency, lathers, no sulfates, works!
Cons: availability, scent, price, parabens
Repurchase?: YES!!

Product Review - Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship Leave In (NEW Formula)

So I decided to take a chance and try out the new formula of Long Term Relationship leave in conditioner. Boy am I glad I did! I can't believe I'm saying this but I honestly think I like this better than the old formula which I didn't even know was possible! Granted I stocked up on the old formula, I'm not as scared for when I finish my last bottle of the old formula. This new one has a bit more protein, the product is now white, has a different scent, and the consistency is less sticky and a bit lighter. Personally I LOVE the new scent! It's hard to explain but it also sticks around longer than the old formula. I also love the consistency, it can still make your hair feel a little coated if you use too much but that's expected. The "extra protein" hasn't caused any adverse effects in my hair, in fact since I've been using it, my hair has experienced less shedding! I love the old formula but I'm glad to welcome in the new!

Pros: scent, price, available at Walmart now, works!, better than old formula, consistency
Cons: protein sensitive ladies beware probably, new formula may not agree with everyone
Repurchase?: YES!!

Product Review - Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Shampoo

So I've had this shampoo since September and am now ready to do a review! Overall it does its job of getting my hair clean. It does have sulfates and when I used it consistently for a few weeks my scalp was whiter and itchier than normal. So I diluted it with some water and oils and I really think that helped! I only use it about 1x a month or so and I think it takes away the little buildup that my Hair One misses or possibly causes. The smell is pretty good but doesn't stay once I put the conditioner in. Does it leave my hair all beautiful and tousled? Nope, my hair looks the same lol. I will say it does make my hair feel clean and fresh!
Pros: Smell, price, availability, works
Cons: sulfates, irritates scalp if used consistently, doesn't tousle
Repurchase?: Probably not

Flat Ironed my Hair Last Night!

The results were alright, I hadn't done it since last December and my ends LOVE me for that. But since I've been using castor oil on my roots, they have DEF thickened up, when I was flat ironing I went over my roots like twice and then my ends. I'm proud of my hair for thickening up nicely over the past year and can't wait for my thin ends to get cut off (I dust monthly and it's working nicely). But I think I ruined my hair a LITTLE when I m&s'd because I used as much product as I would after a rollerset and come to find out my hair didn't need all that moisture! Oh well, I probably won't flat iron again anytime soon, I just wanted to see if my hair looked any healthier and it really does!

I used my Tresemme Heat Tamer and I can't give an official review but it worked a lot better than my Chi heat protectants would so I'm pretty pleased with it. I do need to get another flat iron though because my Chi one is good BUT I'd rather be able to change the temperature because it scared me seeing steam and smelling burnt hair :(
